Hilton to manage Fiji Beach Resort & Spa
Hilton International will manage the newly opened Fiji Beach Resort & Spa on Denarau Island in Fiji.
The five-star resort includes a 219-bedroom hotel and a coral and fish-themed signature restaurant called nuku (Fijian for sand), which has been designed to give the impression that it is floating on water.
Further facilities include a gym and a spa featuring two double and four single treatment rooms as well as a private outdoor terrace.
Guests also have access to the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club’s 18-hole, 6,538m, par 72 golf course, which is adjacent to the resort. The club also boasts six grass and four floodlit synthetic tennis courts.
The first phase of the project was unveiled this month and phase two will be launched in early 2008.
Architects Group SA designed the contemporary resort, which features bespoke furnishings. Details: www.fijibeachresortbyhilton.com
