Hotels check into Art Cool for stylish air conditioning

As members are no doubt aware, the hotel business is an extremely competitive one, with all chains and independents vying for that extra edge which secures regular business and leisure bookings.

Amongst the many things that help a decision to book and sway us to choose one hotel from another is the level of comfort experience throughout our stay.

Everyone has stayed in a hotel that was simply too hot or far too cold without the guest having full control of the heating and air conditioning. Technology has moved on to an extent that this should now never be the case.

BHA corporate partner LG offers a three-pipe system in its Multi V Sync - this is the power behind the climate comfort system.

The Multi V Sync heat recovery system allows indoor units to be designated or switched from heating to cooling and vice-versa giving complete flexibility to any site which has varying requirements - hotel rooms being the prime example.

One of the great features of Multi V Sync is that there is no capacity loss anywhere else in the system when an indoor unit changes mode from heating to cooling or visa-versa. Also, as the system is non-stop during mode changeover, this means reduced energy consumption due to stabilised interior conditions.

Furthermore, this overcomes the main drawback of three pipe heat recovery systems - namely 'heat/cool changeover lag'.

It is said by LG that this is the first type of unit of its kind offering rapid heat/cool changeover with no loss of system performance.

But the real thing that guests will remember is the beauty and aesthetics of the Art Cool indoor units - these are available in mirror and portrait sizes with a wide variety of finishes - including the 'Gallery' series. This allows the hotel owner to adapt the front panel of this highly efficient air conditioning unit as a picture frame to hold any image wanted - famous painting, landscape views, football teams etc.

LG's Art Cool Gallery offers a highly efficient unit with three-way digital air flow control to ensure maximum comfort - there is even the option of turning off the bottom louvre to ensure extra comfort. The units have the premium features and standards of Art Cool - Neo Plasma Air Purifying System; anti-corrosion gold fin; auto cleaning; auto changeover; Jet Cool/Heat; wireless remote controller and auto restart.

All the Art Cool units come complete with either an infrared remote control or a suite of wall mounted controllers and centralised control systems that allows the end-user to control the following functions: Air circulation/Fan operation; Room temperature checking; Sleep mode operation; Temperature setting; Operation mode selection; Single event 24 hour timer function.
