Hyatt Regency debuts in Russia
Hyatt Hotel & Resorts has debuted its Hyatt Regency brand in Russia with the opening of its Hyatt Regency Ekaterinburg.
The property is the second Hyatt development in the country, following Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow and is ahead of plans to open the first phase of the Grand Hyatt Moscow Residences & Spa later this year. Located on the bank of the Iset River, Hyatt Regency Ekaterinburg has been designed by Parisian firm Valode & Pistre. The 20-storey, 296-room property has 56 suites, the Regency Club offering guests a "hotel within a hotel" with a dedicated concierge and places to work and dine.
The hotel also boasts 27,000sq ft (2,500sq m) of conference and banquet space including a 6,500sq ft (600sq m) ballroom, five meeting rooms and a boardroom. There is also a business centre, two restaurants, a lounge and two bars as well as a fitness centre offering a sauna, a hammam, a whirlpool bath, a swimming pool and a spa.
