Jamberoo welcomes 3.5millionth visitor
Jamberoo Action Park in New South Wales, Australia, has announced the arrival of its 3.5millionth guest since it opened in 1980.
From its beginnings as a dairy farm which introduced a grass skiing run, the park now offers 22-hectares of family rides and activities.
General Manager Dax Eddy said: “People came to Jamberoo years ago as kids and now they’re coming back as parents, introducing their kids to the old and many new rides we now have on offer. At just over an hour from Sydney it’s the perfect day trip.”
The park boasts the Outback Bay surf pool, Surf Hill wave slide, Rapid River rapids, Splash Out water slides, Billabong Beach aqua park and the Rock daredevil jump as well as the Hillside Toboggan, Le Mans racing cars and an 18-hole mini golf course. Details: www.jamberoo.net
