Jubilee Hall Clubs Spin fitness in Covent Garden
Jubilee Hall Clubs recently celebrated 30 years of providing community sport by holding an anniversary event in Covent Garden Piazza in London.
The event showcased performances and group sessions from a number of different organisations including children from two local schools, whose ballet and yoga lessons are funded by Jubilee Hall Clubs and demonstrations of parkour and fan dancing.
Headline sponsors, Star Trac, hosted two mass Spinning sessions led by Sarah Morelli, a Spinning Master Instructor and Star Trac's Education and Development Manager.
"This event is a perfect fit with our 'Expect Different' global campaign, which has been established to give something back to communities and to address the global crisis that has seen an alarming increase in obesity rates and related health issues such as diabetes," she said.
"We look to work with special populations, children and charities, and as a company our vision is to increase the number of people who adopt a healthy and active lifestyle."
Phil Rumbelow, chief executive of Jubilee Hall Clubs, added: "The day was a fantastic success, and we are extremely grateful to Star Trac for their generous sponsorship and hands-on involvement in the event.
"The sight of so many people taking part in the group Spinning class was inspirational, and was a brilliant way to raise awareness of the charity and to get across the message that exercise is accessible and fun."
