Kalahari Resorts appoint engineers for Virginia site
Kalahari Resorts, the Wisconsin, US-based firm, has appointed an engineering firm to draft plans to get work on a US$250m project in Fredericksburg, Virginia, underway.
Prime Design Engineering won the contract to complete a site plan for Kalahari, which still needs to secure funding for the project. Until it does, a start date for construction will not be announced.
The proposed African-themed resort will boast a 700-room hotel, an indoor/outdoor waterpark and a fitness centre and spa.
