Late 2010 opening for Palazzo Versace Dubai
The AED2.3bn (£395m, 491m euro, US$627m) Palazzo Versace Dubai resort on the edge of the Dubai Creek in the UAE will launch in late 2010.
The 5.5 hectare development will comprise 217 hotel suites and 169 private residences as well as restaurants and a large day spa. The Salus Per Aquum spa will offer a wide range of therapies including massages.
The Emirates Sunland Group - a joint venture between the Sunland Group and Emirates International Holdings - will develop and manage Palazzo Versace Dubai, while the House of Versace will design the interiors. Details: palazzoversace.ae
