Les Mills launches next generation Smartstep
Group exercise content creators, Les Mills, has launched the Les Mills Smartstep, which has been designed and tested by engineers, physiotherapists and sports professionals.
“We’ve reimagined the Smartstep from the ground up,” says Les Mills executive director, Phillip Mills. “From storage efficiency to member performance, every detail has been designed to help clubs deliver safe, effective, and more enjoyable workouts – while future-proofing their studio space.
“Increased performance is key to creating positive workout experiences that keep members coming back for more. With the right equipment, clubs build stronger communities, deeper member bonds and higher retention.”
The step features integrated risers with click-to-rise technology, allowing for quick height adjustments for the three settings, providing members with a smoother workout experience.
Slim and stackable, it saves 31 per cent on storage compared to the previous generation and takes up less room on the studio floor.
The platform also has greater flex for more muscle activation and less joint impact.
Lightweight, durable, high-performance materials have been used, including 10 per cent recycled plastic.
This comes hot on the heels of the launch of a four-part series of yoga workouts to help operators tap the growing demand for wellness.
