Loch Fyne sees rise in profits and turnover
Loch Fyne Restaurants (LFR), the fish restaurant group, has reported profits of £1.7m for the year ended 31 December 2005, an increase of £1m on last year.
The company also saw a in rise turnover, from £22.2m in 2004 to £24.8m.
A spokesperson for the chain said: “2005 was a significant year in the development of LFR, with the strategic review of the company followed by the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) exit for shareholders, in which LFR was bought by holding company Premium Casual Dining (PCD), with plans to focus on the future expansion of LFR.”
LFR, based on the Loch Fyne Oyster restaurant in Argyll, Scotland, now has 25 outlets in the UK. Details: www.lochfyne.com
