Luxury new day spa for Manchester Radisson Edwardian
More than 200 new jobs will be created when the 14-storey Radisson Edwardian hotel opens on the site of the former Free Trade Hall in June.
Developers have preserved the building’s listed Italian frontage and created 263 luxury rooms.
As part of the £50m development, the hotel will also offer its guest and members a new, state-of-the-art day spa.
The Sienna Spa & Health Club will have five treatment rooms, be run by Fitness Express and will use Elemis products and treatments.
The spa’s other planned amenities include a swimming pool, tanning tables, steamroom, Jacuzzi, a sauna and a fully equipped gym with a number of cv stations.
The treatment room are being built within the hall’s historic barrel vaults to strengthen the feeling of seclusion.
Other facilities in the hotel will include the Signature and Opus One restaurants, bars, function areas and meeting rooms with broadband internet access.
The grand opening will follow a major recruitment operation by hotel management, with opportunities being made available at all levels of running the property.
Stephen Miles, manager, said; “We have a very developed training and progress programme for all levels. What we need are local hoteliers who share our vision and our desire to create something special in Manchester”. Details: www.radisonedwardian.com/manchester
