Mission Hills Golf Club in Shenzhen, China, has announced the opening of its first resort spa, Spring Valley, and released details of another destination spa scheduled to open this year within the 15sq km property.

Located adjacent to the Mission Hills Country Club, Spring Valley facilities include 10 couples treatment suites, five single suites and five hydrotherapy suites.

The treatment menu comprises more than 60 massage, facials and body treatments.

Spring Valley is the third spa to open on the golf club site – the first, called Clubhouse Spa, opened in late 2005 while a second, called Forest Springs, launched last December. A fourth 129,000sq ft (12,000sq m) destination spa, called Wellsprings, will open in the third quarter, this year.

Founded in 1994, Mission Hills Golf Club China is located 30 minutes from the Hong Kong border and is a gated community which also includes a hotel and country club.
