New GMs for Next Generation

Next Generation Clubs has appointed three general managers: for its Edinburgh, Ipswich and London clubs.

Andrew Elliot, previously manager of the company’s flagship club in Edinburgh from 2001 to 2002 and having launched the Bristol club in 2002, returns to the Edinburgh club after a stint as resort manager at the Bahrain Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Spa.

New to Next Generation Ipswich, Donny Doyle started his career on the shop floor as a fitness instructor and later gym manager for David Lloyd Leisure in Glasgow. Having climbed the career ladder to cluster manager for Fitness First, Esporta and Invicta Leisure, Doyle brings insight both from a staff and managerial perspective.

Meanwhile, new Next Generation London general manager John Lavan is a keen sportsman and former local authority health consultant.

His previous roles have included opening Holmes Place’s first family-friendly club in 2000.
