New Threadneedles hotel for London
The Eton Group has recently opened Threadneedles hotel and restaurant in the City of London.
Designed by GA International, the hotel has 69 guestrooms and suites, a bar and an 80-cover restaurant.
Existing features - some of them listed - were retained, including mahogany panelling, cornice work and a listed bank counter. These were combined with contemporary additions including walnut veneer, brown and red leather upholstered seating and bold highlights of colour.
The rooms have floor-to-ceiling walnut wardrobe units, a pale colour palette with lime green, crimson, orange and yellow accents, and striking artwork. Details: +44 (0)20 7482 0054
