New Welsh National Football Development Centre substitutes keys for KitLock locker locks
KitLock has installed its locks in the changing rooms at the newly-opened Welsh National Football Development Centre, Dragon Park.
The facility, which is in the Newport International Sports Village and opened in April 2013, will be a base for the Welsh Football Trust.
KitLock's keyless locks have been installed for the convenience of the players training at the site.
The KitLock 1000 is fitted in place of a standard cam lock and provides keypad access without the need for keys, coins or tokens.
Access is gained by entering a four-digit user code on the keypad. A red LED light will flash to show the locker is in use and a blue light indicates a vacant locker.
The locker locks at Dragon Park were specified by Cardiff-based Willis Systems (UK) Ltd, who specialise in bespoke washroom products for new and refurbishment projects.
"As well as accommodating player training, we also run UEFA-accredited football coaching courses and the lockers will be available for the candidates to use while they attend these courses," said operations manager Kevin Moon.
