New chief executive appointed at Australian Institute of Fitness
The Australian Institute of Fitness has appointed Dyanne Ward its chief executive, to be based at their national office in Sydney.
Ward has more than 25 years experience in the fitness industry in areas such as aged care, consulting engineering and management consulting.
She started out as a group fitness instructor before moving into management and then into corporate wellness consulting.
She has held executive roles in private and public companies and not-for-profits, while her university qualifications cover sports training, exercise physiology and recreation management.
Ward said the institute's mission is to enable graduates to embark on a fulfilling career and for their clients to benefit from the support of well qualified industry professionals.
The institute was established in 1979 and is the largest training organisation in the Australian fitness industry.
