New 'racing' spans for US zipline attraction
Soaring Tree Top Adventures, the zipline attraction located in Colorado, US, has announced that it is to officially launch three new spans to the public on 15 June.
The additions include two parallel ziplines more than 600ft (182.9m)-long, which will allow users to race against each other as they travel through the old growth forest. Soaring Tree Top Adventures comprises more than 30 eco-friendly platforms, with a total of 27 spans ranging from 56-1,400ft (17.1-426.7m) in length. The experience lasts 5.5 hours.
Owner and course designer Johnroy Beggrow said: "We already have the world's largest zipline course, one span that's a quarter mile long, a great ecology tour and some of the most spectacular scenery in the country. "The racing spans create a little competition as friends and family members soar side-by-side and try to see who can reach the end platforms first."
