Enhanced directory searches are being offered through the REPs' website.

The directory of current members of the Register provides the full status of registration, including level and additional categories of registration.

More than 600 members of the public already go to this site every day to check out the qualifications and registration of their instructor.

The Approved Training Provider Directory is a much-enhanced approved training provider search facility. It is important for members and operators – and for those seeking qualifications to work in the industry – to be able to access a full listing of REPs’ approved providers.

The link on the website allows a search under provider name or by category of training and the results list full contact details and hyper-links to providers’ own websites.

REPs registrar Cliff Collins said: “The new training provider search will direct even more business to our approved providers, and will help to cut out and shut down unregulated providers.”

A third directory in the members' area of the web site details a comprehensive listing of Endorsed Training for CPD.

Members are able to sort by training provider name or training type. The results of the search will detail CPD courses and the points allocated as well as contact details for providers.
