New website to help plan London visits
InclusiveLondon.com - a new website designed to help visitors with accessibility needs plan a trip to the capital - has been unveiled by the Greater London Authority (GLA).
The resource is designed to provide members of the public with accessibility information for hotels, restaurants, museums, tourist attractions and shops. It is hoped that the website will provide a first port of call for those planning to visit London in the run up to the 2012 Games and beyond.
Deputy mayor Richard Barnes said: "This is a first for a host city and I am confident that as users add information to the site it will become a valuable one stop shop to help visitors with specific access needs to get around the capital and make the most of their stay."
