Next Generation puts Brown in charge of Cambridge club
Next Generation has appointed Stephen Brown as general manager of its new £12m racquets, health and fitness club in Cambridge.
Brown has worked in the health and fitness sector for 14 years and moved to Next Generation from Greens Health and Fitness, where he was a general manager in both Edinburgh and Norwich.
He began his career with the Royal Berkshire Racquets and Health Club and has also worked for private clubs in Kent.
Brown said his objective within his new role is to bring a standard of facilities and service never before seen in the Cambridge area: “The Next Generation Club concept is unique and caters for every aspect of an individual’s health and wellbeing and I strongly believe in the philosophy of nurturing the health of our youth and encouraging talented youngsters to fulfil their potential.”
Brown is responsible for a staff of 50 within the club and this number will rise to 100 within the next 12-18 months.
