Nexum invests £10m in new sites
Nightclub operator Nexum Leisure has acquired three new properties across the midlands.
The new sites comprise Mr Smiths in Warrington, Blu Bambu in Derby and Tramps in Worcester.
The overall cost of the acquisitions and the planned refurbishments will total £10m.
Neum chief executive, Paul Kinsey, said: “The acquisition of these large-capacity clubs, which have all achieved icon statues in their respective towns, continues our aggressive programme of expansion which began with venues in Blackpool, Bristol and Barnsley.”
According to Kinsey, Nexum has acquired or re-launched a new unit every six weeks during the last 12 months.
Loughborough-based Nexum was formed in 2004 to acquire the assets of club operator Springwood following its fall into receivership.
Nexum currently operates 16 late-night entertainment venues.
