Oakley Court to undergo £10m revamp
Dublin-based Heuston Hospitality is set to embark on a £10m upgrade of the four-star Oakley Court Hotel Windsor – a former setting for Hammer Horror movies – which it acquired in December 2006.
Plans for the property include a complete refurbishment of the bedrooms, public areas, conference facilities and spa by Irish developers Paddy Kelly, Liam Maye and Bernard Costelloe.
Peter Stephenson, CEO of Heuston, said: “Oakley Court is a perfect fit for our growing portfolio of highly individual properties with the potential for development. We plan to build on the hotel’s unique character by investing in the product and staff in order to turn it into a landmark hotel in the south east.”
Heuston is also developing a multi-purpose resort in Tuscany featuring three hotels, a spa and a range of villas, as well as a development in Turks & Caicos featuring a five-star hotel, spa and condominium complex.
