Palazzo Versace Dubai to open in 2010
The AED2.3bn (£395m, 491m euro, US$627m) Palazzo Versace Dubai resort on the edge of the Dubai Creek in the UAE will launch in early 2010.
The 5.5 hectare development will comprise 215 hotel suites and 169 private residences as well as restaurants and a large day spa.
The Salus Per Aquum spa will be similar in design to sister facility the Palazzo Versace Gold Coast in Australia.
The Emirates Sunland Group – a joint venture between the Sunland Group and Emirates International Holdings – will develop and manage the resort, while the House of Versace is designing interiors.
