Park announces new management team
The Peak District National Park Authority (PDNPA) has re-elected Narendra Bajaria CBE as its chair for the fourth successive year at its annual meeting.
The authority also elected a new deputy chair and a number of new committee members.
The new deputy chair is High Peak Borough Councillor Tony Favell, who has lived in Edale, within the national park, for 40 years.
The committee will be made up by chair of planning, a parish representative from Sheldon; vice-chair of planning Trevor Bagshaw, of Sheffield City Council; chair of services, Christopher Pennell; and vice chair of services Gill Heath, from Staffordshire County Council.
Chair of audit and performance is Derbyshire County councillor Garry Purdy and his vice-chair is Patricia Coleman OBE, a parish representative from Youlgrave.
