Parkdean Holidays – which operates 20 caravan parks across the UK – has announced flatlining results for 2005.

Pre-tax profits for the year ending 31 October were £9.18m, marginally ahead of the 2004 profits of £9.05m.

Graham Wilson, chair, said: “2005 was a particularly difficult year for holiday parks, as it was affected by the slow down in consumer spending. While the results for 2005 are below our original expectations, we have confidence in the long-term durability of the market.
