Parkside, a designer of contemporary porcelain and ceramic tiles, has opened its first showroom in the UK.

Located in Chelsea Cross - a design destination in the heart of the London Borough of Chelsea, UK - the new showroom will offer a wide range of bespoke services, including: waterjet cutting, porcelain worktop fabrication and digital tile printing, as well as showcase the company's extensive collection of porcelain and ceramic tiles. The company's creative director Mark Williams designed the 100sq ft (9.3sq m) which is spread across two floors and is designed to provide an inspirational space for customers.

"We are thrilled to be opening Parkside's first UK showroom in such a fantastic location. We believe this space is a truly inspirational tile showroom, providing West London's architects and designer community with the latest trends and quality service", says Williams. "This will act as a template for our future plans to expand our showroom presence and architectural consultancy teams", he adds.

In addition to the flagship launch Parkside will also be hosting a pop up showroom at Clerkenwell Design Week, between 22 and 24 May.m The pop up will be located in a 20ft industrial shipping container in St John's Square, London. It will be used to showcase two bathroom concepts designed by London-based interior design firm Wish.

The identically-sized concepts, Sleek and Serious and Bold and Beautiful, are designed to highlight Parkside's expertise and product collections, and feature a range of materials, with different colours and finishes.
