Picsolve gives its vision of the future of theme parks at IAAPA
Picsolve, the image capture specialist behind photography experiences at Thorpe Park’s ‘Derren Brown’s Ghost Train’, is launching its Theme Park of the Future vision report at IAAPA 2016.
The report will reveal how evolving technology is impacting visitor demand, highlighting growth areas over the next 10 years.
The report finds visitors are demanding the latest technology, with a particular focus on integrating VR, wearables and AR in parks worldwide.
By embracing such technologies, operators can enhance guest satisfaction, while stats suggest 87 per cent of guests are more likely to visit a theme park if it includes VR.
The report will combine unique visitor research and exclusive industry expertise, with future visions and predictions from Picsolve and its partner Dubai Parks and Resorts.
Picsolve introduced two new photography experiences at the Thorpe Park’s ‘Derren Brown’s Ghost Train’ in the UK, to surprise guests with hidden queue-line experiences and unique 3D merchandise.
The creepy Derren Brown’s Ghost Train is an immersive psychological attraction designed to manipulate the human mind. Guests find themselves travelling through a multi-sensory warehouse before hopping onto a disused Victorian train carriage to await their fate.
IAAPA takes place at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida from 15 to 18 November 2016.
