Premier Software has launches Yapps.com, an online directory and marketing tool for spas, salons and health clubs, designed to drive clients directly to the appointment book.

The service is free and operates real time. The launch comes at a time when more than 500,000 online searches for health and beauty services occur monthly, along with 43 per cent of consumers going online to find new sites to visit.

Yapps.com provides a service offering a one-stop shop to consumers looking to research and book immediately online; more than 65,000 UK spas and salons have already been listed to the service. Following a keyword and postcode search, both existing and potential clients will be directed to a list of businesses that match the criteria.

Each individual listing is treated like a mini website within the directory, containing a profile section, location map, images, opening hours, client feedback for approval and external links to the listing's website and social media. Premier web booking clients will be able to take online bookings from within their listing 24 hours a day.
