REPs’ plans nationwide mini-conventions for 2006
Following the success of the Register of Exercise Professionals’ (REPs) first convention in December 2005, the REPs’ team is now planning a series of regional roadshows for 2006.
Three mini-conventions – in Wales, Scotland and the north west of England – will take place in the autumn and will follow a similar format to last year’s event in London.
After a morning of presentations from key motivational speakers and a networking lunch, delegates will then be able to choose from a series of seminars and workshops – each of which will carry CPD credit points.
The REPs’ team were overwhelmed with responses for the first convention last year and so expect demand for these regional sessions to be high.
More than 300 REPs members attended the London convention and it’s hoped by having three regional conferences, even more members will be able to take part this year.
Registrar Cliff Collins said: “We are planning to alternate one national conference London with three or four regional conferences on a bi-annual basis. The response from delegates, speakers and exhibitors at our first convention was fantastic and something we want to repeat across the UK.”
