Regional Members’ Days in 2007: Celebrating the BHA Centenary
The British Hospitality Association(BHA) is pleased to announce the provisional dates and venues for next year’s regional members’ days.
As a small-scale, low-key and informal morning conference, each day will feature a number of short presentations from a variety of speakers on the issues facing small-to-medium businesses in the hospitality industry at present, followed by an informal luncheon.
The provisional dates and venues for next year’s events are:
• East: Thursday 1 March, Hotel Felix, Cambridge. • South East: Thursday 20 March, Grand Hotel, Eastbourne.
• North:Thursday, 11 June, Lakeside Hotel, Newby Bridge, Cumbria • Heart of England: Thursday 14 June, Fawsley Hall, Daventry, Northamptonshire. • South West: Thursday 23 October, Bath Spa Hotel, Bath
Following on from the considerable success of the piloted regional members’ events of autumn 2006, the next year’s regional members’ days will provide another excellent opportunity for the BHA to:
• Engage with its members in the regions
• Enable members and non-members to meet other members in the region • Show non-members how our organisation can help their businesses
Issues that will be covered at the members’ days will include: lobbying, forthcoming legislation, taxation, the tronc, age discrimination, immigration, risk management, licensing, and energy efficiency.
Who should attend the Regional Members’ Days?
• Hotel, restaurant and catering proprietors • Managers of hotels, restaurants, catering outlets and conference venues
• Operational managers and directors
The price per delegate is £35 inc. VAT, with lunch and refreshments included.
