The Castle Hall theatre in Hertford could reportedly receive a £600,000 revamp, while Grange Paddocks Pool and Gym in Bishop’s Stortford could receive a £1.7m refurbishment.

According to the Hertfordshire Mercury, East Herts Council has set aside £3.84m for the refurbishments of Castle Hall, Hartham Leisure Centre and Grange Paddock’s Pool and Gym in Bishop’s Stortford.

Plans for Castle Hall include improving the foyer, remodelling the bar and creating a sprung floor dance studio and multi-purpose space.

Hartham Leisure Centre could receive new studio space, a crèche, changing rooms, and there are plans to convert the first floor into an 80-station gym space.
