Second community boxing gym opens in Derby as part of Ozbox project
A new community boxing gym has opened at Fairfield Youth Centre in Buxton, Derbyshire.
The launch of the space is part of Derbyshire County Council's Ozbox initiative, which it runs in partnership with Derbyshire Police.
The project will see boxing-based fitness sessions and equipment - designed to help young people stay out of trouble - being installed at youth facilities.
Community-based outreach sessions, and sessions in schools, are also offered as part of the scheme
It is the second community gym to open under the scheme and follows the launch of a facility in Creswell earlier this year.
