Second stage of Salubrious Place project gets go-ahead
A new, £30m cinema and leisure complex to be situated in Swansea city centre has been given the go-ahead.
The 140,000sq ft mixed-use leisure extension is the second phase of the continuing redevelopment of the Wind Street area and will feature a 12-screen cinema, restaurant sites and a casino.
Work is due to begin this summer with completion of the shell expected to happen in early 2006 and tenants then trading from late summer onwards.
