Sheffield Esporta club to reopen
Health club chain Esporta is to officially reopen its Sheffield club on 28 July after a two-month, £1m refurbishment.
As part of the revamp, £750,000 was spent on upgrading the gym, with new equipment, flooring, free weights area and stretching zones – as well a new colour scheme and lighting – being introduced. A further £250,000 was spent on the bar area, which received new flooring and furniture.
The gym equipment was supplied by Life Fitness and Escape.
Alistair Kennedy, general manager of Esporta Sheffield, said: “Our aim is to enhance the quality of experience for our members. Esporta Sheffield is a leisure destination for the whole family, with crèche facilities and kids’ club, as well as a swimming pool, gym, restaurant and bar.
“Our investment in the refurbishment is designed to make members feel as relaxed as possible while using our club, enabling them to get maximum value and benefit from their membership.”
