Slotting in a profit.
SAG Controls Systems has launched a new range of locks for pool and leisure centre lockers which could make a worthwhile contribution to a site’s running costs.
The new Safe-o-Mat lock needs two coins, one as a deposit and one for the rental of the locker, and allows users to return and open the locker as often as they like during their visit, without forfeiting their deposit.
The locker key is only retained when the deposit is reclaimed and the rental collected. Alternatively, the lock can be adjusted to retain payment from both slots.
The locks feature a facility for changing the currency used, as well as a penalty cylinder to stop people using the locker beyond a specified time. They can also be fitted with the Promax cylinder, which is ejected from the lock if it is opened with a master key.
