This year’s Springboard Careers Festival – focusing on hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism – will take place on 7-11 March.

There are over 1,000 national and local activities planned with Springboard intending to involve over 100,000 people.

Festival attendees will have the chance to sample the careers available within each of the industry sectors and taste the opportunities on offer.

The festival will launch with a VIP breakfast in London where Springboard will release its research results into young people’s perception of the industry.

On 8 March, Buddy Day, sponsored by 3663, companies will offer job shadowing or swapping and send executives back to the floor.

This year’s festival chair, Bill Toner of Aramark UK, said: “I strongly urge other companies to get involved as much as possible. People are our lifeblood and we need to show what our industry can offer.” Details: www.springboarduk.org.uk
