Stairmaster's new elliptical unveiled
World Cup rugby star, Martin Johnson, has launched the new StairMaster ClubStride 5100.
At a ceremony recently at the new Leicester Tigers' training academy, Johnson unveiled the new elliptical machine and demonstrated what it was capable of.
The occasion also saw Jim Teatum, vice president of international sales for the Nautilus Health & Fitness Group, speaking about the changing nature of the fitness industry.
He pointed out that user profiles were changing and – as a result – workout types and choices of equipment were changing also. A move towards 'softer' exercise had seen sales of elliptical equipment rising and strength training growing in popularity.
