Technogym selected for Athens
Fitness equipment company, Technogym, has been chosen by the IOC as the official supplier of fitness and wellness kit for the Athens Olympic Games later this year.
The company are to install eleven gyms and over 300 pieces of fitness equipment throughout the Olympic Village, which will be used by an estimated 10,000 athletes from more than 200 countries.
Technogym supplied equipment for the Atlanta Games in 1996 and for Sydney in 2000 and its machines have also been picked for use at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin.

With over 2,000 employees across 14 branches, Technogym is present in over 100 countries. More than 65,000 wellness centres are equipped with Technogym and 35 million users train every day on Technogym equipment. Technogym was the official supplier for the past seven Olympic Games, from Sydney 2000 to PyeongChang 2018.
