Third Space opens doors to its latest high-end club

Third Space Chelsea opens on 1 May
The Premium finish includes Italian marble and artwork reflecting the locality
Fitness facilities include an extensive gym floor and four studios
There is also a wet spa and a full Recovery offering

Premium Operator, Third Space, opens its 15th Health club today (1 May) in Chelsea, off the King’s Road.

The Design of the five-storey club combines the historical charm of the building with contemporary aesthetics. Elegant Rosso Levanto marble, imported from Italy, has been used throughout, as well as artwork inspired by former residents of the street, including Winnie the Pooh author, AA Milne.

Third Space CEO, Colin Waggett, says: “We have always been proud to hold our clubs to such a high standard, and Third Space Chelsea delivers this at the highest level. Every element of the club, from its design to the equipment inside, has been carefully thought out, and Chelsea will allow us to continue growing our roster of high performing clubs. We cannot wait to open the doors, and continue helping Londoners prioritise their health and fitness goals.”

A three-lane track and functional rig sits at the heart of the gym floor, surrounded by dedicated weights areas and Technogym and Woodway treadmills. The gym floor is complemented by an elite stretch and recovery zone giving members access to Hyperice Hypervolts, Hypersphere, NormaTec Recovery Boots and Vyper Vibrating Foam Rollers.

More than 250 weekly classes will take place in the four studios for HIIT (with immersive lighting), Indoor cycling, Yoga and reformer Pilates.

Supportive modalities will be on offer at the Recovery Spa – Cryotherapy, red light therapy and sound and vibration therapy beds, which combine binaural sound and gentle vibration to help regulate the nervous system, reduce stress and improve mood, sleep and behavioural Wellbeing.

Centrepiece of the wet spa is a signature pool illuminated by Rosso Levanto marble tiling. There is also a Hydrotherapy pool with underwater Massage jets and neck cascades; a Finnish Loyly sauna and steamroom, heated loungers and a cold plunge pool, ranging from 8-10 degrees celsius.

This is the first of three launches this year, with Oxford Street and Queen’s Park to follow. The last site to launch was The Whiteley in December.
