Three leisure centres managed by North Wiltshire Leisure (NWLL) are to be closed due to the company’s financial situation.
NWLL – which currently operates six centres owned by North Wiltshire District Council – told the council that it would not be able to afford to keep the facilities at Calne, Cricklade and Wootton Bassett open.
The not-for-profit leisure trust, formed in 2000, has reportedly been asked to submit a recovery and business plan by the end of the month.
