Titanic Sea Odyssey for ADLIB
Liverpool-based ADLIB was contracted to provide PA systems for the city's 'Sea Odyssey Giant Spectacular', a street theatre production created by French large scale puppeteers Royal De Luxe to coincide with the 100th anniversary of Titanic's maiden voyage at the end of April.
ADLIB was tasked by Liverpool City Council's events department, Liverpool Vision, with providing PA systems at the three main gathering points for the promenade performance, which featured the Little Girl Giant and her Uncle. Five PA hangs were deployed over the three venues, including Stanley Park, the Kings Dock and Canning Dock
The company also fitted a sound system on the Brocklebank Band Boat, which accompanied the waterborne part of the show. The installations featured premium French audio kit from both L-Acoustics and Nexo, with Soundcraft mixing consoles used on the land-based sites and a DiGiCo SD8 on Brocklebank.
