Brighton, UK-based Digital Interactive Booth Systems has announced that it will be opening an office in Austin, Texas, to expand its Animalive brand of interactives.

The group has appointed Michael Goss to head its US operations as sales director.

Animalive, a live interactive animation system which combines motion capture with real time animation rendering, won the best product for show production and entertainment at the IAAPA Expo in 2009.

CEO of Animalive, Ali Kord said: "These are exciting times for Animalive, we have seen exceptional level of interest in our technology across North America.
