Solidcore, which is majority owned by L Catterton, has confirmed that it is actively exploring international expansion, with Europe representing a priority region under consideration.

“We're not ready to commit to a specific launch date or country yet, but our approach is deliberate and phased, with initial entry tied to identifying the right market conditions and operating partners,” Solidcore president and CEO, Bryan Myers, told HCM.

“We're evaluating several high-density global cities across Europe that align with our target client and brand positioning. These tend to be urban markets with strong boutique Fitness adoption and consumers who are willing to invest in Premium, coach-led experiences.

“We believe there is significant opportunity to scale across multiple markets globally, with each market supporting a meaningful network of studios over time.”

A 50-minute, high-intensity, low-impact strength training workout, Solidcore uses slow, controlled movements on a custom reformer to target slow-twitch muscle fibres. Spring-based resistance and time under tension are designed to achieve second-stage muscle failure and build strength.

“What sets Solidcore apart is that the workout is designed to build more than physical strength,” says Myers. “Through personalised coaching in an Immersive Environment, clients are challenged to push past discomfort, build resilience and consistently show up as the strongest version of themselves.

“This combination of physical intensity, mental challenge and a deeply coached experience creates a results-driven workout that extends beyond the studio and into how clients live their daily lives.”

The company currently operates more than 170 corporately owned studios across the US and expects to have more than 200 open by the end of the year. It has a highly engaged member base, with more than one million monthly studio visits.

“Solidcore occupies a distinct position within the boutique fitness landscape,” says Myers. “While we operate within the broader strength and reformer-based workout category, our methodology, intensity and coaching model differentiate us meaningfully from both traditional Pilates and other boutique concepts.

“We differentiate through execution, consistency and results. Our focus is on building a category-leading, coach-driven strength training experience, which we believe remains underpenetrated globally.”

The international Strategy will centre on corporate-owned growth and joint venture partnerships in early markets in order to maintain control over training standards, Programming and client experience.

“We partner with experienced local operators who bring deep knowledge of Real estate, labour markets and cultural dynamics,” says Myers. “That combination of centralised brand control and local market expertise is essential to ensuring we can translate the Solidcore experience effectively while maintaining the consistency and quality that define the brand.”
