Upgrade for Newcastle uni gym
Newcastle University is to invest £145,000 in upgrading its health and fitness club.
As part of the upgrade, the existing cv equipment will be replaced by new kit supplied by Precor.
In total 57 new pieces of equipment will be installed ready for the new academic year and the 6,500 students that regularly use the gym.
These includes 20 treadmills, six upright bikes, six recumbent bikes, 20 elliptical crosstrainers and five Adaptive Motion Trainers.
There will also be an integrated wireless Cardio Theater(r) to complement the gyms large screens.
