For me, the worst scenario in all of this is that the business owner gives up, loses their dream altogether and goes back to employment or leaves the sector completely.

There is no escaping the fact that we are operating in extraordinary times. Our physical health clubs, gyms and studios are closed and we’re trying to keep our membership engaged, fit and healthy via online and digital training.

There is no magic pill (at the moment) which will end this global pandemic. We are in the midst of a game-changing situation and how gym owners and operators use this time will determine whether you survive or thrive.

The IFBA offers a complete business solution for efficient, profitable, sustainable and scalable fitness businesses and it wants to help as many businesses (and the businesses of tomorrow) to use this time to re-group, reassess and relaunch with a bang when health clubs and gyms re-open their doors.

The IFBA was set up and founded by industry veteran Jean-Claude Vacassin who has spent his life working in the sector as a PT first, and then club owner and operator. JC’s passion and commitment to the sector knows no bounds, which is why the IFBA was created, to support entrepreneurs, clubs owners and the operators of tomorrow to change the rule book when it came to the business of fitness.

JC talks about his vision and the IFBA: “Every entrepreneur struggles to translate their passion into a viable, efficient business. I set up my first personal training gym in 2009, and, back then, I knew very little about running a fitness business. It was no easy ride, like many PTs and fitness professionals out there, I knew how to train people to get results but what didn’t come so naturally was profit and loss, sales funnels and everything in between.”

JC continues: “The team at the IFBA has seen our fair share of poorly functioning businesses. Many struggle on with little or no hope of reaping the rewards such as return on investment and scaling the business. For me, the worst scenario in all of this is that the business owner gives up, loses their dream altogether and goes back to employment or leaves the sector completely.”

The IFBA was inspired by pioneering businesses and leading figures in the US, which led JC to create the “perfect fitness business model”. It is a simple solution for ambitious owners - learn and be inspired by the best in the business; those who have been there, done it and come out the other side with a resounding success.

The IFBA offers fitness professionals everything they need to deliver tangible results. Membership offers a comprehensive resource, which lays out the systems, processes and steps you need to implement to transform your business from simply surviving to truly thriving – or how to open a gym from scratch. Everything is covered from how to launch a Modern Training Gym through to programming and staffing, marketing, sales, retention, customer care, reporting and scaling your business.

As a special offer and to give back to the sector, The IFBA is offering all HCM readers who sign up to the IFBA will receive 50% off their membership for April, May and June as well as receiving a free one hour consultation with JC Vacassin. Simply email: [email protected]

Join us, and together we’ll define the fast-track route to achieving your business’ potential.
