Work begins on phase two of Eden Rock revamp
The second phase of the refurbishment of The Eden Rock Hotel on the Island of St Bart’s in the Caribbean has now begun, overseen by architects and interior designers, Benoy.
Phase one, a £10m (14.5m euros, US$18m) scheme to modernise the main house – including revamping the Greta Garbo and Howard Huges suites – was completed by Christmas last year.
Phase two, worth a further £5m (7m euros, US$9m), will see the construction of five new fractional-ownership apartments, eight colonial-style aprtments and two luxury houses.
