Work starts at new Nordik Spa in Winnipeg
Work has begun on a new Nordik Spa at a Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada golf course.
The spa, which is being built by Nordik Spa-Nature, is set to open in spring 2013.
The budget has been increased from US$6.5m to US$8.5m (6.5m euro, £5.2m) following a revision of the plans, which has also delayed the start of the construction and the open date.
Nordik Spa-Nature say the spa will create more than 50 new jobs as well as benefiting local companies and suppliers.
