YMCA gives teenagers a sporting chance
Two YMCA centres in Fleetwood and Thornton, Lancashire, are to offer free sports sessions to local teenagers.
The new initiative, called Kick Start, is intended to keep bored youngsters off the streets and follows from last year's Youth Only Zones, which were also held at the two YMCA centres.
Teenagers will be able to try a variety of sports including football, lacrosse, basketball, martial arts and water polo, supervised by qualified coaches. Details: www.ymca.org.uk
