YTL to open Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur
YTL Hotels is set to re-launch the iconic Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia in December.
Located on 3.2acres (1.29 hectare) on Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, the hotel will offer 300 rooms and suites.
The 1930s property has been fully restored to house the suites, The Colonial Café and The Tea Lounge. A separate, 15-storey Tower Wing – which rises above the historic building - will include the deluxe rooms, restaurants, swimming pool and meeting rooms.
The Majestic Spa is situated in a separate building and will offer seven treatment rooms, a relaxation area and a swimming pool.
Dining options include Opus One, a contemporary restaurant featuring an open kitchen concept, while the Colonial Café offers traditional dishes.
A two-storey building called The Smoke House will feature a bar, grooming room, cigar room, private dining area, a screening room and card room.
Other facilities include a gym, 16 meeting rooms and a ballroom.
