Abu Dhabi-based developer Aldar Properties has announced that the five-star Yas Hotel is on schedule to open in time for the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix in November 2009.
The property will be the first hotel operated by Aldar and one of seven hotels opening on Yas Island.
The 500-room hotel boasts a wide range of entertainment venues and restaurants and also has a luxury spa - complete with a fully equipped health club, hammam and roof top swimming pools.
Paul Bell, Managing Director of Aldar Hotels & Hospitality, the group's management arm, said: "This unique development is the perfect flagship for Aldar Hotels & Hospitality and underlines our objective to become a significant force in hospitality in the region."
