£80,000 gym extension for Swansea's LC
Swansea's LC leisure complex has announced plans to undertake an £80,000 extension of the gym facilities in a bid to meet growing demand for services.
A new standalone spin studio and a new free weights area are proposed as part of the plans, with the latter to be equipped by Technogym and located on the existing gym floor. Meanwhile, the spin studio is to be fitted with spin bikes and tempo lighting to help create a "high-octane indoor cycling experience" for users.
LC general manager Nic Beggs said: "With there being so much demand for our spinning class, we felt that creating a separate area for it was a necessity for the gym. "This investment reflects the conversations that we have had with our members, and we look forward to developing the gym area and classes even more in the future."
